She survived the heat no problem, as far as we know. She wanted to play when I got home. The backyard is in shade for most of the afternoon. She lies on the grass to keep cool. In hottest parts of the day she either hides in her kennel or down the side under some plants.

Speaking of plants... anything that was in the sun for extended periods of time over the last few days as gone brown and wilted. The driveway has Agapanthus running down it. We never water them. All the leaves facing the concrete are brown and crumble when touched. It's all very sad. Even the weeds have died.

We dumped a few loads of washing worth of rinse water on the hedge. We can't lose that.
