Faith No More: The Very Best Definitive Ultimate Greatest Hits Collection  #

Since they broke up, Faith No More has had a lot of best-of collections. The first two were acceptable but slightly redundant.

One was the "final best-of with extras" Who Cares A Lot? that thanked fans with a bonus disc of some stunning unheard rarities. The actual best-of disc was made up almost entirely of singles.

The second, This Is It seemed more of a band compilation with some non-singles and the addition of "The Perfect Crime" for those that didn't have the Bill & Teds soundtrack as a "remastering", whatever that means these days.

Following this we've had a number of collections best not discussed.

Caca Volante News has today brought the information that yet another best of is to be released entitled "The Very Best Definitive Ultimate Greatest Hits Collection".

Really.

The main disc itself is nothing new (unless "remastered" is your thing) but the second disc is interesting.

For the first time ever officially we'll have "New Improved Song" (a left over Chuck era "Introduce Yourself" track) and "Sweet Emotion" (left over from "The Real Thing" sessions) on CD. Previously they were released on bonus 7" singles on the front of magazines.

Therefore, I must buy.

The rest of the b-sides are good and highly recommended for those that didn't already spend hundreds of dollars in the 90s for the singles in order to get them.
