I haven't stopped since.
It occurred to me recently I'm officially one of those mythical "ten years experience" people you hear about who are supposed to know everything.
I don't know everything, but I know the answers the questions I'm asked.
Ten years? Where did it all go?
Three approximately one and a half metre square boxes two boards deep filled with various animal poo, worms and mulch now grace our backyard.
Katie planted corn, lettuce, beetroot, carrots, broccoli and a few herbs as well as marigolds which apparently help prevent insect and nematode damage although various blog posts of the web suggest marigolds cause just as many problems as they solve. We'll see.
Hopefully the dog will do a good job keeping the birds away from the plants and won't do a good job of digging them all up. She's already decided horse poo tastes great...
