Had drinks Friday night as a celebration of my birthday. Fun times were had. Finally got out to go see Look Who's Toxic who I hadn't seen for a couple of years. Accidentally saw The Escargo-go's who played French classics (Serge Gainsbourg et al) in a punk style. They were great.

Saturday had a big restaurant breakfast, followed by a drive to Daylesford on a whim to look at Mill Markets. Lovely, except the rain on the way back.

Saturday night I messed about on the computer a bit, replacing the audio on some video of my friend's band (using Audacity to sync and Quick Time Pro to save out the video). I've also, finally, set up Collectorz Music Collector on my laptop, and using the Sync account on their online Connect database, I can sync updates made while lazily watching TV with my main desktop. Very happy.

One day I'll get around to blogging about my 2012 CD album purchases.

Sunday lunch with family and a bit more computer nerding.

I've vaguely started thinking about video editing again, decided Sony Vegas is the way to go, but unfortunately I'll need a new PC to do that. This one is 5 years old. Ancient in PC years. I bought it to play Half Life 2 and Portal, neither of which I've finished yet. Not sure I really have time to start ANOTHER project anyway. The PC room is full of rubbish, half finished piles of "I'll do that one day" from photo scanning, the book organising. I need to cull my ideas and focus...
