How did you begin playing music? Did you take leasons or just dive right in?
my sister was playin in a band and goin out with the bass player i thought that was cool so did she so i started playin bass at school and jammin with my m8's.
When Pre_Shrunk started did you have trouble getting gigs or was it popularity from the start?
we had no trouble gettin shows because of our nursery crimes/cranky

i'm sure we will b touring xtensively ojn the album l8r in the year.
Do you use the net much? What for?
yea i use the net 4 everything work/entertainment i get to the limit of my 150hrs per month every month :)
How important do you see the internet in the future for Aussie bands.
i think it will be important for everyone not just bands. it will be interesting to c what goes on in the nxt few years re mp3 etc. it is a great way for acts to be independantly promoting there existence ww
I assume Gamer is about Half-Life with all the samples from it
(they are from Half-Life arn't they?)
yea :) there r a few hl samples in there plus many others . i was totally possesed on hl for a while there.:) it was the main inspiration for gamer.

Is Shrunking a full time job? Do you jam every day?
i try and play everyday , pre_shrunk is a time consuming venture, it
could be a little more time consuming at present. i m sure this will b the case soon.
What other bands are you into?
i love aphex twin , i believe that in the future when people look back at this time in history they will see him as being a genius of his time. i love so much music from so many different styles and artists it is very hard to list them. maybe u could come over and i'll play u some shit ?
The cliche question.. What is the craziest thing a fan has done
for Shrunk?
well the wonderful mads came on an east coast of australia tour with us :) that kinda blew us all away we love mads for her conviction and belief in pre_shrunk.
an adelaide fan met us at the airport once with a huge kinda
billboard/shrine to pre_shrunk that she had made and wanted signed then when we got to our motel there was a spread of home made rolls and cakes that she had racked for us.
Are any singles planned for the new album? What sort of form
will they take? B-sides? Video!
we r not sure about singles. we have recorded 4 or 5 b-sides.
we hope to make at least 2 vids for the album.

all of the above . its a pretty even mix of those procedures.
From knowing the band for a while, I know there are a lot of
tracks you havn't released, like Prat, Milli, Beat Around the
Bush and so on. What happens to songs like these? They weren't
good enough?
basically we r in a constant state of evolution , some species just dont have all the survival skills :)
