Pre-Shrunk were Dave Morris (bass), Davage Thomas (bass) and Justin Dwyer (drums). All three members shared vocal duties with Dave and Davage sharing lead vocals.
Pre-Shrunk were known for their use of two bass guitars instead of the usual bass + six string guitar and their blending of various styles including pop, rock, metal and dance.
1996
Pre-Shrunk formed in 1996, having their first jam in March of that year.
Davage previously played in Melbourne band Nursery Crimes while Dave played in Cranky.
1997
The band independently recorded and released their first EP Exhibit (a) with producer Reggie P. Bowman. The EP was released in March 1997.
A promo video for Creation was created by a friend of the band but it is unknown if it was ever broadcast.
In November 1997, Pre-Shrunk released their second EP Sudden Blinding Certainty through Redcap Records.
While filming the promo video for Road Rager the band were hassled by the police, who later appeared in the clip. The clip was banned from ABC video program Rage (presumably) due to it's depiction of assault with a motor vehicle.
1998
Over the next two years the band play over 300+ gigs.
In 1998 they were voted Band of The Year at the "Combined Campus Awards" In Victoria and Best Unsigned Act at the "M.I.C.A Awards" in Adelaide.
At the start of a tour of Sydney in 1998 the band had their van stolen. They lost everything. They continued on with borrowed gear.
Late 1998 sees the band sign to Black Yak/Phantom.
1999
Triple A Side EP released in January 1999.
Sub Charkra EP released in August 1999.
A video is produced for Hot Robots.
Pre-Shrunk tour nationally with silverchair for their Neon Ballroom tour in August 1999.
Pre-Shrunk headline the Triple J Turn Up Your Radio tour in August/September 1999 with ....
Tour nationally with The Cruel Sea in October and November.
Triple A Side is nominated for an ARIA award for "Best Independent Release".
2000
Tour Japan in May 2000 including the Loco Loco festival. They return later in the year??
The band's first album Digital Sunrise released 15th September 2000.
2001
Pre-Shrunk appear in the first episode one of ABC drama, Love Is A Four Letter Word, performing Hot Robots and Soundpimp.
Pre-Shrunk are nominated for an ARIA award for "Best Independent Release" for Digital Sunrise.
2002
Bestseller was recorded in August/ September 2002 at Scream Louder Studios in Warrandyte. Released??
Singles for Kite, Frogga Boogaga, Hey...
2003

Current
Dave Morris now makes and performs electronic music and remixes under the name Hans Dirty.
Davage has re-joined Nursery Crimes.
