"Denver Post" (G. Brown) - 31st March 1990 - "Two California bands will perform this week in the Garage at Denver's 23 Parrish: Caterwaul is there Monday night April 2 and Faith No More on Wednesday night."
"I was with another band for five years, and I still play with them," Patton said. "I don't know what I bring to Faith No More except I sing a lot different than the other guy. All the music for the record had been written - I was just told to do what I wanted with it."
Various March 1990 Kansas City Star (18th-25th March) "Now Showing" sections indicate Faith No More playing "The Shadow" in Kansas City on 4th April 1990.
