"Orange County Register" 4th March 1991 - "Faith No More take home top honors at Bay Area Music Awards Rapper M.C. Hammer was honored Saturday night as musician of 1990 and for the year's outstanding album during the 14th annual Bay Area Music Awards.
The neo-metal band Faith No More received five Bammies, decided by readers of BAM Magazine, a pop-music magazine published in Oakland.
The award ceremony was held at San Francisco's Civic Auditorium in a gala featuring live performances by Faith No More, Clarence Clemons and Carlos Santana."
